[BeepLowTech]

This month sees the final BLT of the year and it's shaping up to be a good one. Sadly I won't be there this time, but lets hope everyone gets in the festive spirt enough to shake their little xmas bootys down to the ground. As standard, please congregate at the Jazz Place at 10pm on the second Thursday of the month (thats the 18th for those who can't be bothered to work it out) for some techy-goodness...

[It's that BeepLowTech time again...]

Evening bloggers. It's that time of the month again when everyone's favourite dirty tech-house event comes around...So soon u say! I know, exciting isn't it... This month all your favourites will be there to shake the insides of the Jazz Place once again. Remember it's only £2 to get in and as a special added bonus this month you can follow the link to download the most recent 8hz podcast provided by the enigmatic Mr. Simon Green...

So then, a group of Sussex undergrads have started up this night, havent been before but the feed back has been positive, the inimitable Action Jackson is playing, for which we would go alone. Have heard rumours that he is celebrating his birthday tonight, so should be good. Me and the Mole will be heading down and throwing out all our sleekest moves and cracking onto students, which is a second very good reason to come (Moley has a fairly unique dancing style). If your unlucky enough not to be unable tonight it occurs twice every month at a cost of only £3 to get in and there's cheap drinks to boot.

[BeepLowTech...]

So the second BeepLowTech night has been and gone and can I happily report that it was a roaring success compared to the last one. The frantic last minute flyering must have worked because (despite the small price increase) the sweaty basement we fondly call 'The Jazz Place' enjoyed a mini-revival. The atmosphere was really friendly (probably beacause most ppl knew each other already) and the low-down dirty tech funk and minimal house exhibited by messers Sam Batt, Stavros, Jakey and Simon Green would have destroyed even the cheesiest of dancefloors. The only disappointment was that they couldn't find a decent library to put the night on in, oh well. Stay tuned and I will try and post a mix from one of the Beep Low Tech DJ's...
